The Board has launched 'Krishak Uphar Yojna' from 2nd October, 2000 on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti in all the mandis of the State. Under this Scheme the secretary Market Committee issues gift coupen to the seller farmers on production of J form. One gift coupen is given to the farmers selling the Agricultural Produce of Rs.5000/- each,  draws are being held for each market committee at district head quarter half yearly. The details of awards which are being distributed in cash for each market committee  are as under:-

Four prizes shall be compulsory in each market committee irrespective of income half yearly out of which there will be one Ist prize of Rs.20,000/- & three other prizes of Rs.5000/-each Besides this remaining prizes will be decided proportionate to the annual income of market committee concerned.

The value of the awards annually is Rs.2.40 crores. This scheme has encouraged the farmers to bring their produce in mandis. As such, Rs.11.20 crores has been disbursed to 12342 persons under this Scheme up to 30-4-2008.
